Friday 27 September celebrates World Tourism Day and, on the occasion of this anniversary, the Vatican Museums open for free to the public.
Visitors will have free access to the Pontifical Collections according to the usual schedule: 9.00 am- 6.00 pm (last admission at 4.00 pm). The entrance fee will remain confirmed and booked online for the usual Friday Night Opening.
Promoted by the World Tourism Organization (OMT), World Tourism Day is celebrated worldwide every September 27th. The theme chosen for the 2019 edition is of great relevance and social significance: “Tourism and work: a better future for all”.
